If you missed the scrapbook and video and would like to see them, contact Leslie Sands. 250th Anniversary Celebration Schedule of Events January 1, 2007 Ringing of the Church Bell 250 times by church members. Reading of the town proclamation commemorating our 250th anniversary. Early February Re-enactment of the Winter Privileges meetings held in the parish during the 1750’s - as part of our Stewardship Campaign as well as providing an opportunity for parishioners to meet and greet our new settled Pastor – The Rev. Bryn Smallwood-Garcia. March 3, 2007 Annual talent show sponsored by the youth to begin this year with a pasta dinner. Honoring all Missionaries past and present. May 27, 2007 Colonial service reenactment followed by a CCB float in the town Memorial Day Parade. Lemonade & cookies served on the lawn of the church during the parade. June 10, 2007 Special All Church Picnic with an Ice Cream Social, Barbershop Quartet, and old fashioned games on the lawn. Summer 2007 Lands End Cemetery tour. Barbecue with guitar sing along. September 28, 2007 Actual Anniversary Date. Friday evening candlelight prayer service September 29, 2007 Saturday evening dinner at the church. Meet & Greet in the courtyard, program in the Sanctuary followed by a catered dinner in fellowship hall. September 30, 2007 Special Sunday morning service to include all available past and present Pastors of CCB. October 20, 2007 Annual Yankee Fair & Barn Sale. “If They Could See Us Now”. 250th Anniversary theme. Decorations will involve 50 year increments of time throughout the church. Brooks Hall will have a display of CCB history. November 21, 2007 Ecumenical Thanksgiving Service to be held at CCB December 31, 2007 Noon time ringing of our church bell 250 times to end our anniversary celebration year.
