SYF WANTS YOU TO JOIN US!! SYF (Senior Youth Fellowship) is a group of 9th-12th graders who meet regularly to build community, grow in faith, serve God and others in small mission projects and a week-long summer service project, and to have lots of FUN! All youth in grades 9-12 are invited to join us on Sundays from 7:00 to 8:30 pm in Room 1 (unless otherwise noted on the schedule below).
Freshman- WE-WANT-YOU! Please join us to help us grow and unite our youth group. We are excited to get to know you.

Enjoy some time celebrating your Mom on Mother’s Day!
Meet us at the
Memorial Field across from Prince of Peace Church on rt. 133 for some good
fellowship and FUN with other church youth groups from Brookfield and beyond.
We will mix, mingle, play, have some devotional time, and lots of FUN!!!
(Drop off & Pick up will be at the field.)

June 2nd- Sunday, June 3rd = Relay for Life –
6:00pm-6:00am
We have created
a CCB
Youth Team for the Brookfield Relay for Life, which will take
place at BHS from Saturday,
June 2nd-Sunday, June 3rd. It begins at 6 pm on Saturday
and continues to 6 am on Sunday. We hope that many of you (youth and
parents) will join us for this great event (either for part of the evening or
overnight) to support a VERY worthwhile organization. If you are
interested in participating on our team go to

McCullough is our team captain (no matter what it looks like when you sign up).
We will be carrying out our Change for Change fundraiser throughout May.
Otherwise we hope you will ask family & friends to support you in your
efforts to raise funds for cancer care and research. (Let us know if you
have any trouble joining the team.)

June 24th = SYF Mission Team Letter Writing – 6-7 pm
This is our
opportunity to bring our mission team together for dinner and letter writing.
We will provide the dinner, letters, envelopes, and postage.
All you need to do is bring your parents’ address book or a list of
people you have the “OK” to write to. We
send out basic letters explaining what our mission trip will be about, what the
mission of Boston Urban Outreach is, and invite people to support us by
providing a monetary gift and/or prayers. (Mission Team members will also be called upon during the month of June
to sell stock to our congregation….more information to follow.)
NOTE: If any of you are interested in
signing up for the Color Me Rad Race
in Hartford on Saturday, May 26th at 9am, please let Pastor Jen know
officially by May 15th. More
information can be found on their website at http://www.colormerad.com/races/hartford.html.
Registration will be $25 (with the church supplementing the cost).
