The Board of Deacons

Purpose

To nurture and care for the members and friends of the church, and to nurture the congregation's spiritual growth and actively pray for its members and their concerns.

What do Deacons do?

·         Maintain contact with their deacon branch through letters, calls, group activities, prayers and visits

·         Provide meals and transportation for those going through difficult times

·         Assist with baptisms, serve communion, deliver flowers, bread visitation, wedding coordinators and help at some funeral receptions

·  Welcome new members through dinners and conversations

When do you meet?

3^rd Tuesday of each month at 7:30 pm in Brooks Hall
